Four-Slide Machine Operator

Location: Hacienda Heights, CA

Pay Rate: $20.00/hour

Shift: 2nd Shift (1:30 PM – 10:00 PM)

Training will be conducted on 1st Shift (5:00 AM – 1:30 PM)

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Four-Slide Machine Operator to set up and operate slide forming machines that manufacture precision metal components such as spring washers, brackets, and clips. This role is critical in ensuring parts meet strict aircraft-quality specifications.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Set up and operate one or more four-slide forming machines to punch, cut, and form metal strips and wire
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and manufacturing work orders to determine tooling and material requirements
• Select, mount, and align tooling attachments to ensure proper machine setup
• Make machine adjustments as needed to produce parts within required specifications and tolerances
• Load machines with raw materials and monitor production runs
• Use precision measuring instruments, including:
  • Micrometers
  • Calipers
  • Comparator
  • Specialized inspection gauges
• Perform ongoing quality checks to ensure compliance with aerospace standards
• Maintain productivity levels while meeting quality and production targets
• Complete required recordkeeping and data entry accurately
• Maintain a clean and organized work area (housekeeping)
• Follow all safety policies and procedures

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience operating four-slide or similar forming machines preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
• Strong understanding of precision measurement tools and techniques
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to meet production goals in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Basic computer and data entry skills
• Strong safety awareness
