Job Description

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a closely related field (Master’s preferred).
• Valid teaching qualification/certification.
• Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in secondary Computer Science or a related subject, experience teaching international curricula (IGCSE, A Level, or IBDP) is preferred.
• Familiarity with assessment requirements (e.g., IGCSE coursework, IB Internal Assessment) is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
• Strong classroom management and differentiation skills.
• Committed to the school’s mission, values, and educational philosophy.

Responsible for the following:
Teaching & Learning
• Deliver high-quality teaching in IGCSE and/or IBDP Computer Science.
• Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons.
• Develop students’ computational thinking and problem-solving skills through practical and project-based learning.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.

Curriculum Development & Progression
• Contribute to curriculum planning, implementation, and review.
• Support curriculum continuity across year levels.
• Prepare students for progression into IBDP or further study in related fields.

Assessment & Student Support
• Design and implement formative and summative assessments.
• Guide students in completing coursework or internal assessment projects.
• Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback.
• Use assessment data to inform teaching and learning.
• Uphold academic integrity and follow school assessment policies.

Student Development & School Contribution
• Maintain a positive and safe learning environment.
• Support extracurricular activities such as science clubs or competitions.
• Participate in parent communication, including conferences and reporting.
• Fulfill additional duties as assigned by the school.
• Willingness to participate in school events and extended duties.
