Project Engineer

Location: Tampa, FL

Salary: $70,000 - $80,000

This opportunity is with a veteran-founded contractor focused on government and healthcare construction projects across Florida. The company operates with a mission-driven culture and places a strong emphasis on teamwork, accountability, and delivering quality work on facilities that serve veterans and local communities.

The Project Engineer will support a Project Manager on projects serving Veterans Affairs campuses in the region.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with RFIs, submittals, and project documentation
• Support project scheduling and coordination with field teams
• Track project progress and maintain organized records
• Communicate with subcontractors and vendors regarding project requirements
• Assist with change order tracking and cost documentation
• Support the Project Manager with day-to-day project coordination

What You Bring

• Interest in construction project management
• Strong organization and communication skills
• Ability to read construction drawings and specifications
• Detail-oriented approach to documentation and coordination
• Construction internship or project support experience preferred
