Position Purpose :

The Receptionist will provide professional administrative support. In this role it is necessary that you enjoy managing diverse responsibilities, make well-reasoned decisions about prioritizing responsibilities, and have a passion to learn and develop with the company. The candidate must understand and utilize office equipment such as photocopiers, faxes, printers and scanners. This position requires dependability, approachability, self-motivation and a commitment to hard work.

Job Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree or higher preferred

Essential Responsibilities:

• Greets visitors, customers, answer/screen/route telephone calls, files, and performs other general clerical duties
• Must maintain professionalism and provide courteous, helpful, and prompt attention to all parties with which they interact
• Responsible for data entry
• Must manage time to meet deadlines
• Know, support, and enforce company policies
• Assist with coordination of event planning
• All other duties and projects as assigned

Qualifications/Skills:

• Computer based skills including Office365 and Google Suite
• Knowledge of transportation industry is a plus
• Ability to communicate well with others
• Ability to transfer knowledge
• Above average writing skills and organizational skills
• Positive attitude
• Ability to take direction from managers

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
