Threadroll Machine Operator – 2nd Shift

Location: Hacienda Heights, CA

Pay Rate: $22.00/hour

Shift: 2nd Shift (1:30 PM – 10:00 PM)

Training will be conducted on 1st Shift (5:00 AM – 1:30 PM)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Threadroll Machine Operator to set up and operate various thread rolling machines for the production of precision, aircraft-quality fasteners. This position requires attention to detail, strong technical knowledge, and adherence to quality and safety standards.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Set up and operate thread roll machines to manufacture precision fasteners
• Use and set various measuring instruments, including:
  • Micrometers
  • Calipers
  • Plug and ring gages
  • Comparator and microscope
• Read and interpret part drawings, work instructions, and process control procedures
• Understand thread rolling terminology and part features
• Perform first piece verification and in-process (loaf pan) inspections per specifications
• Identify improper machine functioning and report safety concerns promptly
• Complete daily 5S activities and maintain a clean, organized work area
• Perform preventative maintenance at the start of each shift
• Accurately complete transactions in Shop-Trak system
• Follow Quality Management System (QMS) requirements
• Pass production stamp test

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience operating thread rolling or similar manufacturing equipment preferred
• Ability to use precision measuring tools accurately
• Basic shop math skills required
• Strong attention to detail and quality focus
• Good communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus
