Role Description

Triple Star Construction, Inc. is seeking an experienced Estimator for a full-time on-site role located in Cranbury, NJ. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing project requirements, and collaborating with project teams. Key responsibilities include interpreting technical drawings, performing quantity takeoffs, sourcing supplier quotes, managing bidding processes, and ensuring competitive project pricing. Maintaining strong relationships with subcontractors and vendors is essential.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in preparing cost estimates, conducting quantity takeoffs, and analyzing construction plans
• Experience in sourcing supplier quotes, managing bidding processes, and negotiating with subcontractors
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and best practices
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project requirements
• Familiarity with construction software and estimation tools (e.g., Bluebeam, ProEst, or PlanSwift) is preferred
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
• Experience in commercial construction projects is highly desirable
