Maintenance Technician (Manufacturing Equipment)

Location: Houston, TX 77073

Pay Range: $22 – $25 per hour

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform routine and complex maintenance on production equipment in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairs, and executing preventive maintenance programs to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
• Maintain and repair equipment including:
• CNC Mills & Lathes (manual and automated)
• Injection molding machines
• Steam boilers and autoclaves
• Spray systems and sandblasters
• Forklifts (up to 12,000 lb capacity)
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance per established schedules
• Diagnose equipment issues by inspecting components and consulting with team members
• Complete emergency repairs to minimize production downtime
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, records, and documentation
• Coordinate and request materials and parts for maintenance projects
• Read and interpret basic blueprints, electrical, and hydraulic schematics
• Safely operate and maintain tools, including power tools and pipe threading equipment
• Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols
• Support team-based environment and assist with additional maintenance needs as required

Qualifications

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• First Grade Stationary Engineer License (City of Houston) required

Experience:

• 2–5 years of related maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience repairing CNC and manual machines
• Experience with sandblasting equipment preferred
• Strong understanding of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
• Working knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment
